Step 2: Add VPN L2TP over IPSec Configuration

In your account, under the "L2TP / Cisco IPSec" section, you will find the necessary information to add the L2TP configuration via IPSec or Cisco IPSec ("Server Address", "Account Name", "Password", "Shared Secret").

  1. Go to "System Settings" > "Network" > "Add VPN Configuration" and select "L2TP over IPSec".

  3. Congratulations! You've added the VPN configuration. However, at the moment, the connection will be without encryption. To fully utilize L2TP, you need to enable "Send all traffic over VPN". To do this, go to "System Settings" > "VPN" > "Your connection (xx.evpn.info)" > "Options" and enable "Send all traffic over VPN", as shown in the example below. Then click "OK" to apply.

Step 3: Checking Your VPN Connection

  1. Go to "System Settings" > "VPN" and turn on the switch as shown in the screenshot above.

  2. Open any location check site like https://ipaddress.my/ and make sure that the country you selected when obtaining your personal VPN settings is detected.

We recommend turning on the VPN status icon in "System Settings" > "Control Center" > "VPN" > Select "Show in Menu Bar".
